Hi All,

I have a HTML report embedded as email body in outlook, but when I am clicking the drill through links nothing is working. I am getting the information message saying that "If there are problems with how this message is displayed, click here to view it in web browser". It is working fine in browser.

I am using Cognos v10.2.1.

Could anyone please let me know how can I fix this issue?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Drill through definitions work when you are rendering your report in a browser connected to your Cognos server. If you are embedding your report output in an email then you are not within this paradigm. You will need to replace your drill through definition with a hyperlink pointing to the URL of the target report to achieve what you are attempting. You will probably get prompted for authentication when you follow the link, too.

Cheers!

MF.
