No "Keep" option in a Crosstab? What am I missing?

We just moved from Cognos 8 to Cognos 10 and we're learning Workspace Advanced.  I'm starting with a crosstab and bringing in my regions.  It lists all regions in the United States, Canada and Europe.  I want to do a "keep" on the 5 United States regions like I do in Analysis Studio 8.  I select them but I don't have a "keep" option anywhere in the menu that I can see.  What's surprising though is I do have "Exclude" in there.

Simply put, is there a "Keep" option in Workspace Advanced so if I drag a dimension into my report, I can select just a few elements and keep them like I did in Analysis Studio?

Thanks

I just found my answer but in case someone stumbles upon this question in the future, it's as simple as selecting the elements that you want to keep (the 5 U.S. regions in my rows), clicking the Filter icon in the toolbar, and choosing the first option that says "Include..."

Yep - you found it! :)

Just a thought - wouldn't it be easier simply to bring in only the five required region members from the package tree?

No, I'm a financial analyst by trade so I do things the hard way.  :)

Real reason though is that we're using this for ad hoc analysis and sometimes spot something we want to take a closer look at and modify the report on the fly.

That made me laugh! :)

Most of what you can do in Analysis Studio is there in CWA - you just need to find it. It's a bit of a re-learning curve, but you quickly get used to it.

Have fun!!
