Hi,

     I have installed Cognos v10.1.1 with IBM Business Monitor, i cannot access Report Studio from launch menu. I did the following;

1. Navigated to IBM Cognos Administration
2. Security > Capabilities >
3. Report Studio > Set Properties
4. Seletected All Authenticated Users > Execute and Traverse Property.

But this isn't working, though I re-started cognos service. removed cookies etc.

Also when i select an already build report with option 'open with Report Studio' it gives me the following error
You are not allowed to launch ReportStudio.

Grim

definately a permissions/capabilities issue. Unfortunately hard to troubleshoot without knowing what was done. Did you document all the changes made to security?

Sidenote: This is also something that can be set in system.xml. Might want to check there as well.

Have you checked in Security > User Interface Profiles that your users have Traverse and Execute privileges to the Professional entry?
