Impromptu error opening a report

Hi

I need help on an error that is driving me crazy.

We have several reports on a file server. When opening any of these files Impromptu 7.3 shows the following error:

"The report is locked by another user or is read only. A copy will be made"

When the process is over there are two files open, the original and the copy.

The problem does not occur if Impromptu is started first. Only when trying to open the file without impromptu running.

This error only shows up with 1 user, so no problem with the reports when opened by all the other users( 250)

The OS is Windows XP.

I think it is a good candidate for a bug. Contact Cognos Support. Check latest 7.4 BUG FIXES lists if it already might have been resolved.

I will try to upgrade to 7.4 and see if that solves the issue.
