Who here is able to specifically build data marts and data warehouses utilizing Cognos Data Manager 10.2 software? Very curious to see who possesses this skill set.  ???

Me! :)

If you have specific questions about using Data Manager, you're best posting them in the Data Manager board:

You, my first poster within this discussion, are very special! I am surprised to see no one possesses this very specific skill set, but I will post in Data Manager section and see if there are other people out there who know this. This is actually for a specific job I am trying to fill with Banesco bank. A great opportunity!  ;D

Second poster, I actually laughed at the ratio you stated. 1:22,000 something people is quite surprising.  :o

Ooh! Special? Moi? Thank you SO much! :) Do Banesco Bank employ British muppets with no green card? :) I think I know the answer to that before you reply :)

Lynn... You have a special gift for making me laugh! Please don't ever stop! :)

IBM actually has a certification for Data Manager.  When people achieve this certification, they have the option of registering their certification with IBM.  I believe you might be able to reach out to IBM for a list of those individuals who are certified.

:) I have this cert. I sat it at IOD in Rome in 2010. I was devastated not to get 100% in the exam. The excuse I trot out is that I am English and I am used to seeing dates in the (obviously correct) DD/MM/YYYY format. This caused me to get the question on Late Arriving Facts wrong - as it turns out, the dates in the question were MM/DD/YYYY format and it was not obvious that the MMs were DDs and vice versa. Picky? Bitter? Me? :)

Haha well, my British Cognos friend, indeed the answer is a no-go, unless you do somehow get a Green Card! :-\

tjohnson3050: I will look into the IBM thing. How can I receive the contact information for them?

I appreciate you Cognos experts keeping this convo going! ;D

I have some stout green paper - perhaps I could glue two pieces together to make it card-like? Would that suffice, do you think? :)

I will send you a message with the contact details of the program manager for BA certifications - you could try talking to her...

Cheers!
