Audit Reports

Hi All,
Am currently working in Cognos 8.4 and would like to have the XML copy for all the Audi reports which come along with Cognos.

I managed to setup Audit data base and successfully created the connection but not for URL_XML which prevents me from accessing the sample audit reports. I tried all the steps mentioned in user guide and forums but no luck.

Since I have the Audit framework setup, it will be helpful if somebody share the xml/text version of the Audit reports.

Your help will be highly appreciated. Thanks

I am a little confused as to what you are asking for...
Are you looking for reports that use the URL_XML datasource in the samples? Or are you as you asked looking for the XML for all reports in the Audit Package?

URL_XML isn't how you get the sample reports working... To be honest in 6 years I have never even bothered to get the URL_XML working so I am not even 100% sure what it does...

Take a look at your cognosinstall > webcontent > samples > content folder
See if you have a IBM_Cognos_Audit.zip file - copy that file to your deployment directory and then using your Content Administration screen import the content. You will need to edit the Audit data source provided to point to where you have your Audit logs written to but all of the Audit reports can be found there.

I tried exporting and importing IBM_Cognos_Audit.zip file  via Content Administration but unfortunately I couldnt see any of the Audit report in it!!!  which is the trouble. I am need to access sample Audit reports in 8.4 version.
Any file type of report will be helpful like copying the report to clipboard and saving it in a .txt/ .xml will be great. Cheers

Did you check the Public Folders>Samples>Audit location?
If you imported the sample audit content that where they should be.
