Hello everyone, I'm Gonzalo, From Argentine. I work  with Cognos 8 BI Planning using, obviously Analyst, and manager and contributor to make web pages.

The system were created to make a Forecast and the last cognos boy (before me) put on Manager page a proccess control cube for mark with date and time the last macro was ran. So I'm making a new dcubes and I want to put a new proccess control and I dont know how. Its a cube with dlist who have the d cubes names, and I want to mark the time.. etc. My problem is .. .how can I put the dcube proccess control on manager to see like this.. ??

I think I need add a table but i try and I don't get it.

If somebody can help me, welcome...!!!

Thanks a lot!!!

Hi,
first off I must say I'm sorry since this probably is not helpful at all, but..

is your problem to create that particular "Process Control" -view in Manager?
Check menu "D-Cube" in Manager. There's "Open" to open a whole new D-Cube where you can select items to display. "View" let's you edit the order of dimensions (D-Lists) for an open D-Cube, you just need to click and activate that cube first, in your case first click on "Process Control" -view. With "Reselect" you can change the selection of items to display.

The "table" you mention I think is the opened view of the D-Cube, as explained above. You can find plenty of settings for this "table" in menu "Table" next to menu "D-Cube"..   :O  First you must click on the Process Control -view to activate it..

OR

is your problem how to get the date data updated in the Process Control cube? Is it automatically updated when the macros run, or is it manual?
If automatic, I would also be interested to hear how this works..! I'm not aware of any Analyst macros which would produce such log information to a D-Cube and I do have some ideas how to do it if need arise, but it would be nice to hear what's the process in your case.
In Analyst check via Library functions (File-Library..) which items the cube Process Control is used by to give you an idea how the dates get there.
