Hi all,

I am trying to do a full content export and has failed.

The following were the errors when I checked the cogserver logs:

CM-SYS-5001 A Content Manager internal error occurred

CM-SYS-5192 An error occurred with Content Manager

The content export fails when I tick the export user attributes box, otherwise it is successful.

Please advice.

Are you able to browse the Authentication provider?

do a consistency check. you might know the issue. we had a similar situation. up on doing consis check, we deleted some inactive users. then all set.

Talk with your DBA as well
When we saw issues like this the root cause was we needed to update the SQL cache (the SQL size was to large, not the data size the SQL statement size trying to bring everything out)

Once our DBA raised these limits we were able to do full exports without any problems our Content Store size was around 2GB - not sure how to check this without a tool like Meta Manager

Hopefully a consistancy check will work for you but if not try to see if your DBA is getting any errors when attempting to run the job with Export users clicked.

actually in our project, we always got this error when doing back up. As the users in our environment may be changed some time, so we often do bellow steps to make the back up succeed;
1) Under Security Module,check user groups, whether we have unavailable users under these groups;
2) Under Configuration Module, chose Content Adminstration on the left list, click New Consistency Check under New Content Maintenance icon, before running the activity, chose Find Only, u can get the reasons why u cannot back up the full contenct with user account
3) After Checking the result, u can run the consistency check again, then chose Find and Fix.
4) Done the fixing, now u can back up the environment again, it will working fine, without error.

Hope this may help u :)

Make sure whoever is doing this is a System Administrator in the Cognos namespace. This can also make a difference.

It was resolved by deleting one of the user's profile in Cognos.
