Text format data does not show up in Planning Contributor 10

Hi guys,

Got a bit of a problem with transporting text format data to a Contributor application. Text won't show up in the grid, numerical data (with no specific format setting) does. It's a fairly large DLink from Analyst to Contributor production covering all eList items, but even if I split it to several smaller links there's no desired result. Only if I edit the link to deliver data to only one eList item and the particular two text items without the numerical items in the same DList it finally works, but...
Also, I've tried an Admin link from a Cognos FM Package to the same application's development and then GTP, but no text data there either. I haven't tested the Admin link with only one eList item yet...

So, familiar with this, anyone? Should I continue with cutting down to smaller links? I think how large a DLink you can have is related to the environment in question, but in general, what would be the maximum amount dimensions and/or items in a dimension to consider not worth trying in a DLink? Are there such limitations in Admin links?

It's version 10.1.1. FP2. In version 8.4.1 this worked fine, only after migration to 10 there's issues.

edit:
Ok, tried reducing the eList items also in the admin link and with two included it seemed to deliver the data... so the questions above related to performance could be added with "is the capacity reduction in data links between version 8 & 10 quantifiable..?"   :o

Hi

I have had this problem and solved it by splitting the link in two, one for numeric data and one for text data

Hi!

I think I tried that too, but it didn't work either. Now it's set up so that numeric data goes with the D-Links, but the texts are updated by Data Manager job to application im_ tables and then there's GTP macro to bring it in...
