QuoteRSV-CM-0005 Content Manager did not return an object for the requested search path

Details :

RSV-SRV-0042 Trace back:
RSReportService.cpp(752): RSException: CCL_CAUGHT: RSReportService::process()
RSReportServiceMethod.cpp(263): RSException: CCL_RETHROW: RSReportServiceMethod::process(): reportQuery_Request
RSASyncExecutionThread.cpp(808): RSException: RSASyncExecutionThread::checkException
RSASyncExecutionThread.cpp(260): RSException: CCL_CAUGHT: RSASyncExecutionThread::runImpl(): reportQuery_Request
RSCMHelper.cpp(472): RSException: CCL_THROW: RSCMHelper::getAuthoredReport()

I copied a report. The missing objet is a template. I tried to put it back, still the same errer. I cann't either do nothing under RS cause the report can't even be opened ! I tried as well read the XML from the original report file, i can't find the path at all !  :o

How a report works with a template ? If the link is broken, how to recover ?

Thx in advance  ;)

It sounds like your report contains a layout component reference that points back to a report which has been moved or deleted. It will most likely refer to the internal ID of the report rather than the name, so it's not enough to put another report with the same name in it's place - you will have to move the original report back to its original location. Alternatively you could edit the Layout Component Reference to point to the report in its new location. See the following technote:

Cheers!

I can't do that cause :

Have you tried running a Content Store maintenance task to fix problems in internal references?
You can create such a task in Cognos Administration > Content Administration.
