I installed Data Manager 10.1.0 and found that the sample databases are for MS Access (.mdb). Is there a sample database available for MS SQL Server (and where I can find it)? I could use SQL Server Express which is free, I don't have MS Access licence and installation media files.

I believe that MS offers a free tool that converts Access databases to SQL Server. I tried (briefly) googlin' for it without success, but you might be able to find it. You just need the patience to dig through the MSDN and random Bing search results pages.

Thanks for the reply, I actually found that I don't need MS Access. I downloaded MDB viewer plus (http://www.alexnolan.net/software/mdb_viewer_plus.htm) for looking data from access files.

All you actually need is the Microsoft Data Access Pack, which will give you the ODBC drivers to connect to MS Access. Once you can connect to the Access database files from Data Manager, you're away! You can even use DM to transfer the data into tables in SQL Server.
