Bursting a multiple query report with dynamic filters...

Hi everyone  ;D
iIm having an request im fighting with, maybe somebody of you have done sth similar and is willing to share his ideas?!
The request is, to create a report for 3 regions and burst it, then write them to the file system. well, i did configure cognos configuration and cognos connection so i have the option to write the reports in a folder i have created, also simple bursting works as well for reports with 1 query.

But the main challenge im having an issue with is to create the report, so it shows different types of data depending on the region where different depots are standing.

Let me give you an example. There are 3 regions, europe, asia and america. In these regions are different depots with an depot_id.
I want burst the report for the depots based on this depot id, means

Depot 1 , depot 3 and Depot 4 in Europe are getting a report for europe
Depot 2 and 5 in America geting the report for american depots
and DEpot 6 and 7 for Asia.

I was thinkin about creating variable display variable, create one big reports with crosstabs holding the data for the different regions (every region gets a different view on the data) using the display variable to hide the crosstabs not meant to be seen for the focused region.

BUT: I have no idea how to do this. I did make simple variables in other reports, but this one is kind of tricky i think, especially in combination with the bursting.
And how can i set dynmic filters? I also needto make a top 10 ranking (using topcount, works properly), but there should be only depots compared for each region, means american depots have to be compared with other american depots only.

Im a bit down because:ive worked out the logic and the calculations for all figures, the writing into the filesystem works and bursting in the easy mode works as well..and now im stuck with this request.  :-\
IN SHORT (sry for the long post)
-> bursting for multiple queries, how to do this (ive read a best practice by ibm using master detail relations ships, but further hints are welcome)
-> how can i set upt filters, variables and calculations, that (based on one main report) each bursted report based on depot_id gives me only information on this depot and ALSO how can i connect this id information to create filters for the region of this id.

If anybody has done sth similar or has an idea, it would be pretty nice.
