Hello, I am hoping you can help with a Cognos Planning Contributor problem we're having.

We're running Cognos Enterprise Planning Series 7 Version 3.

Hi,

Could you please check the Elist and Rights.

If there are any Invalid Entries in the Rights, please rectify and perform GTP again.

Let us know on the progress.

Thanks,
Anand

We have checked the EList and Rights (as far as we were not really sure what we were looking for, all looked ok), a GTP was run, and the issues continues to exist.

Can you perhaps clarify what we should be looking for? What do you mean by "Invalid Entries"?

Hey Noscog,

Give this a try:
*Note: Export both your rights and your elist to text file or excel BEFORE executing these steps.

1. In the Contributor Admin Console (CAC) expand the application that is having
the problem.
2. Go to development > web-client configuration > validate access
manager and click on update certificate.
3. Go to elist and user classes > user classes and click on validate.
4. Save and run a GTP.
