Admin Links resulting in bad and unexpected data

We have noticed erratic behavior in Admin links within Cognos over the past couple of weeks.  The issues are in links that I set up in 2008 and have used every month since.  All they do is copy over one version (FCST) to another (Prev FCST) before we open up the system for the operators to input their new Forecast.  We have never had an issue with these links - when they complete, we should see FCST equaling Prev FCST.  For some reason, multiple links of these are bringing in data to the Prev FCST version that we don't recognize.  For example, if a FCST line item is Zero, the corresponding Prev FCST line item will show an amount in there (when it should really be Zero).  Even after zeroing out the data in the Prev FCST version before we run the links, the links still bring in unexpected numbers where there shouldn't be any.  Obviously, this is causing a major disruption to our monthly process and I already have IBM working on the issue.  I have zipped up one of our Contributor applications which is affected, and sent it to their Tech Support along with the corresponding Analyst library.  What is interesting is that when we run a link from Analyst to Contributor, it works fine.  The problems are only in the links within Contributor itself.  IBM has not been able to replicate the issue - even after sending them our Analyst libraries, Contributor applcations and our database.  Has anyone out there ever experienced something like this?  I am quite baffled!  We are on Oracle database.

That's definitely unexpected behaviour.
I would suspect:
- access tables setup forcing data transformation
- something else happening at the same time

Are you using link to development or production?
Check the im_ tables in application db — is there any data?

Have you tried recreating the links? We had a similar problem a year ago and in the end recreating the links solved the issue. IBM support thought that they original links had become corrupted despite the fact that everything looked correct. It may be worth trying to recreate just one, running and seeing what happens. Check the tables ykud suggested first.

We have also faced this problem.. But there is No specific reason. But following things worked for me.
1. I changed Few Access Table Settings
2. New Admin Link Creation
3. Check for any New D-List Addition or E-List addition in the Application and same reflected in the Admin Links

Please let us know on your finding.
