As the topic says, when setting cardinality, what does changing the operator do?

I awlays have it on = but am currious to know what the other operators did and when they are used.

Thanks

Perform a search on theta joins!!

Basically this is a vast subject where you will learn about cartesian products (cross joins), triangular joins (  < ,  > ), non-equi joins (<>)  and  'between' joins. They can all have their specific use, but since this is a Cognos forum I'll try and keep quiet   ;)

In regular models you will not use anything else than =  , mind you!!
