passing drill targets between reports from different packages?

Hi,
We have a new source system, so I am planning to build a new model and Package with these tables. But unfortunatley our new system only carries balances,so inoder to get history for detail transactions  I need to go to old reports i.e with old package.
Now my question is can I pass parameters(drill thru) to the old reports from new reports (both have different packages). Supposedly both will have a common  project No to pass. Please let me know if I am clear enough to explain my scenario.

Yes you can drill through to reports from a different package.  The only thing that matters is that project numbers will match between the two packages.  As long as the project numbers the same you should have no trouble.
