Error RSV-CM-0005 opening report via link unless I login first

If I don't login to cognos before opening a report link we placed on our website I get the following error.
RSV-CM-0005

      Content Manager did not return an object for the requested search path '/content/folder[@name='ORS']/folder[@name='ORS Reports Authenticated']/report[@name='web report - Unit']'.



If I login to cognos then click the link the report opens fine.

Is there a way to have the link take you to the login page first if you are not logged in and then take you to the report after you authenticate?
