Report has no data

Greetings,

I am new to Cognos. I need some help and am stuck. My problem is when i run my report in Report Studio
am getting all the fields but no data in the report. I watched this video from youtube creating global filter link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K7ntBdPvtT0 and i did exactly same. Not only this I also has the same problem with other reports. when i run the report i get the report with no values. Please help me regarding this matter. Thank you for your time and sharing the knowledge.

First Check whether data exist in the Database tables.
if yes then check any filter present in the report. If yes then disable all the filters and check whether data is shown. If the data is shown then problem is with filter. if not then you have to check ur FM Package.
