Hi,
Need some help on following issue:

Three problems were identified after deployment .

1)      The deployment is not getting complete and getting a status as "Failed" with the error message "Problem loading common table P_MACRO".

2)      The contributor admin macros are not working although the individual analyst macros are working fine. The error message in this case is "Function "CheckServer" caused a "LENGTH ERROR" on line 7"

3)      When we are trying to create deployment package in the production environment then it is not allowing to create the deployment package through export and throwing the following error "There was a problem running the Deployment Wizard null"

Regards,
Ravi

Hi Ravi,

The first error you're receiving is unknown to me and doing a quick google search, I came up with nothing.  However, based on your second error below, you are working with macros.  So even though the deployment failed on the P_MACRO table, were the macros imported anyways?

The second error you're receiving might in fact be a defect.  What specific version of 8.4.1 did you upgrade to?  8.4.1 Base, Fp1, or Fp2?  Do a search on the server for the file analysterror.txt, this should give you some indication as to why the contributor macros are failing to run analyst macros.

For the third error, I've seen this similar behavior if there are macros and admin links that have duplicate names.  Take a look through your macros and make sure none of them are identically named, or contain special characters.

Cheers
Eric
