Leverging BEx queries in Report Studio

I am real new to Cognos reporting and I am looking for how to use SAP BEx queries in Report Writer.  How do I define those in Framework Manager.  When I do the import it only looks at tables, views, procedures and such.  I do not see queries.  Please do not tell me to read the manual.  I have looked at Chapter 5 in FrameWork manager documents.  Thanks for any help.  respond to the list or john.jones@duke.edu
