Hiding columns in crosstab creates a formatting problem

Hello,

I am using cognos 8.Ã,  I have a crosstab with one row field and
two nested columns.Ã,  The top column is a sort key, the bottom
column is the description (a string).Ã,  The measure is a count.
I need to perform a total horizontally and vertically.Ã,  This is
what it looks like.

_______|Ã,  SORT KEY | Total|
_______|Descr|Descr|Ã,  Ã,  Ã,  Ã,  |
Country|
Country| EMPLOYEEÃ,  COUNT |
Country|
TotalÃ,  |

Now I must perform the total on the column (for description) by
highlighting sort key and chossing total from the summation
icon.Ã,  Then I hide the Sort Key by setting box type to none.
When I run the report the "Total" column label appears all the
way to the left (above the first column), and the totals are on
the right.Ã,  This happens because I hid the sort key field.

Is there any way to fix this??
