Integrating TM1 9.4 MR1 with IBM Cognos 10 ERROR

Hi,

Has anyone tried integrating TM1 9.4 MR1 with IBM cognos 10 BI?  I am having an error when creating a datasource connection

TM1-ERR-0050 An attempt to initialize the TM1 API failed. The TM1 error code is 502. The TM1 error message is "Could not load tm1api.dll due to: The specified module could not be found."

I already tried these fixes from IBM (Cognos 8) since none for Cognos 10 are posted

IBM Cognos software environment specs for TM1 9.4. MR1 indicate support only for BI 8.4 and 8.4.1.  Not Cognos BI 10.1.  I believe you need to upgrade TM1 to 9.5.1 or better yet 9.5.2, both of which are supported with BI 10.1.

According to supported environment TM1 v9.4 should work with BI v10.1:

I have seen tons of 502 errors in TM1 v9.4. The only work-around I have ever thought of was restart Windows. I suggest to migrate to newer version of TM1 to get off this errors, like v9.5.2.

We were getting the same error as this.

We did a custom install onto the dispatcher of TM1 Client + the API Developer components - and this resolved the issue.
