Recover Deleted Folder frm My Folders area

Hi all,
I have deleted an entire folder consisting of like 74 Reports from the My Folders area,
can any1 help me the steps to recover the lost Folder.

When you delete from Cognos Connection, the content is gone - there is no recycle bin you can recover items from.  Unless the folder exists somewhere else on another page, your only hope is that the Content Store database has been backed up.

If you do have a backup of the content store, create a new database, restore the backup into your new database, and change the configuration of ReportNet to point to the new database as the content store.  Hopefully you should now find the missing folder.  Copy it to the Public Folders page, then in Tools/Deployment, create an export of this folder.  Finally, change the configuration of ReportNet to point back to the real content store, and in Tools/Deployment, import the folder archive you made.  It will get imported into Public Folders, so move it to your My Folders page once the import is complete.  Delete the temporary content store database, and you're all done.
