good morning.

i know i can open individual report folders and do an advanced search and filter by modified parameter, but i can only do this one folder at a time to get a detail list of reports.  is there another way to get a list of all report files modified within the public folder?

And if so, can this be exported from within cognos connection?

Or if there is another place to find this info on the backend that would probably be best to meet my requirements and output.

We are using 8.3 with Oracle 11g backend.

Thanks,
Joe

haven't been able to find anything further.  so have gone into each individual folder and done an advanced search and edited the modified drop to within last week.  but have to do this at each individual folder which makes it a little time consuming.  will post further info if i can find another way.  the output i've gotten is sufficient for our management requirement at this point.  just wish there was an easier way to do this.

thanks.

I think you can look for all the reports within Public Folders that are modified in the last week, but I don't think you can export from within Cognos Connection. This is in 8.4

Click on Search from the main page, Click Advanced. Under Modified, select 'In Last Week' instead of 'Any', Under Scope change it to 'Public Folders' etc.,

Hope this is what you were looking for...

The Audit package delivered with Cognos 8 should be able to get this information for you.  If not, there is also an Extended Audit package available to Cognos customers.
