A Suggestion

Hi,

I was wondering if this forum could have a "Sticky Folder", if this doesn't already exist. I have seen this in some automobile sites where the "best answers" or "best solutions",are added to the Sticky Folder. That way, one need not go through the whole Report Studio forum to see if a question was ever answered, and that which works, or ask questions which may have already been asked before.

Often some well documented processes are also added to the Stick Folder.  Of course, I am not sure as to who actually decides a particular response ought to be a sticky? Could be the moderators, and/or some of the members who actually know this stuff.

I would think a separate Sticky for each forum.

Just a thought.

Hi,

As one of the global moderators, I have the giddy ability to make posts sticky (or unsticky).  If you want a specific post to become sticky, drop me (or any other active moderators) a PM and I will look at the merits of doing this on a post-by-post basis.

Regards,

MF.

Thanks MF for your response.

If I come across a post that looks like 'sticky' material, I will of course let you know. My thinking though was along the lines of creating a specific "sticky" area where one could go and view solutions.

I hope other users will also join in on this and help create a sticky area :-)

Hi,

I don't have the ability to create new folders etc - that capability lies entirely in the hands of the site administrators.  You could try adding a post in the Forum Suggestions area - they may see it there and respond?
