CRN 1.1 MR3 Install

Hi,

Anybody have a quick step-by-step guide to upgrade CRN1.1 from MR2 to MR3?

If not, can I install over the top of MR2, or is it best practice to uninstall MR2 first and Install MR3 afterwards.

You cannot install MR3 over the MR2, the installation interface doesn't allow you.
I backed up everything (Cognos Configuration, iis, content store), uninstalled MR2 and installer MR3 in the same location.
Everything went fine, the first time you start the new Cognos configuration consolle it detects the old settings and loads it.

I didn't need to use the backup I made.

Thanks for the install link and experience report.  Is there a list of fixes?  I looked around for 5 minutes on the silly Cognos site but, got frustrated and couldn't find anything.  Can anyone provide a link?  Thanks!
