Is there a maximum number of queries that a report can have in Report Studio (v8.1)?  I have an odd report that requires an unusual number of queries.  I'm running into an issue that everytime we are over 20 queries any query after the 20th one does not run.

Thanks...Stacy

hi,

as far as i know,

there is no limitation on the number of queries that a report can have..

Believe me, once we had a report which has totally 105 queries and it worked fine.

may be the issue will be with the processing ability of your server, becoz when a report is taking so much time to execute, then you may face "Asynchronous request failed . Time out error ".

try to increase the number of process for batch report service and report service ..

could you please tell me the error that you are facing , so that we will get an idea regarding which type of issue that you are facing.

Cheers,
Vanthian

Hi.  Thanks for your reply.  Unfortunately we do not get any errors from the report.  The report is a summary of the number or errors (a count) from all our ETL error tables in our data warehouse.  Each count on each table is a separate query.  We have 55 error tables and thus 55 queries.  There isn't many records in each table.  The report returns without an error, but there are no numbers after the 20th query.  We did solve the issue where the count was 0 but was not displaying by putting a cast on it to the character 0.  When we remove the first 20 queries and rerun the report, the second 20 counts do show.

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
