Auto-submit or hold selection in (in-body) tree prompt

I need to create an interactive report that should have a tree prompt (in-body) in the report body when user clicks any node member of tree prompt, report should reflect the selection (i.e. auto-submit).
I believe this is not possible in report studio, we need to provide submit (re-prompt) button to apply the value of tree prompt in the report. Please let me know if this is achievable in report studio.
Now other problem is when i select any children node and click re-prompt button, the tree prompt is collapsing to parent level - is there any way where tree prompt will not collapse to top level and will show me the node that i have selected before pressing the re-prompt button?
