Is ASP Web Matrix an alternative for IIS?

Hi,
I have Windows XP Home Edition so IIS is out of the question. I have checked the forum in Microsoft website and found that I will have to upgrade to XP Professional for IIS. I came across this ASP.NET Web Matrix which says it is a good alternative for IIS.

Can anyone tell me if this will work? If not, is there any other alternative for IIS which has been tested?

Webmatrix has it's own webserver.. that's all... you should study the documentation on which webservers are supported.... You could also try apache...
