Shared colour palettes

Is it possible to share a colour palette between 2 different charts?

For example, if I have 2 charts with the same categories, I only want to show the Legend once at the top of the report, not twice.

The problem is that the colours are different between the charts for each category.

Is there a way to force CategoryX in Chart1 to have the same colour as CategoryX in Chart2?

Thx

Hi,

You can use the 'conditional palette property of each chart for this (known  as 'Fred is Red' to old-timer muppets like me). You will still end up with two legends - one for each chart - but you can hide one of them if you wish.

Regards,

MF.
