Hey All,

I'm using Cognos v11.0.13 in this case.  I've got a date field which includes both date and time subparts.

Seems that regardless of the several Data Format options I've tried including Date Format Short, Date Format Long, Time Format Short, Time Format Long, Display Seconds = Two Digits, etc., any occurrence of a seconds value which is smaller than "10" is presented on the report as a single digit.

I've tried removing essentially all Data Format choices and replace the multiple settings with a specific Pattern of "mm/dd/yyyy hh:mm:ss".  Though that fixes my seconds output, for some reason it screws up the months value displaying bogus month number values that are greater than "12".

I tried the Data Format | Pattern approach because I found it as the suggested solution on one of IBM's websites.

Anyone have similar experience - solutions?  Thank you.

This isn't Excel.  "mm" always means minutes.

Be specific.  Please provide the URL.

DOH!

Thanks dougp for making that point.  I can't recall with confidence but the values (those which were larger than "12") which were appearing on my report just might have been "minutes"!
