Hi everyone,

in 11.0.13. we used to create a job in the Portal to access a maintenance task job (clear cache) from the administration console to provide the job to the users. Now since we me moved to 11.1.7. we cannot access the Administration folder in the job definition. We can only select Team content and My content. Is there any chance to open the classic view or enable the Administration folder?

Thanks and best regards,
CC

In the meantime I found a workaround that is working to run the job, but not maintain it. You can enable the classic view and then edit or create a Job with access to the Administration folder (https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/how-display-version-10-cognos-connection-home-page-cognos-analytics-11). Afterwards the Job is visible and all job steps run fine. However, you the job steps with Administration tasks are not visible in the Job defintion. Very strange and not satisfying. At least until version 11.1.5. you were able to open the Job in the classic view from the Job definition, but this feature has been removed.

Has anyone any idea, if there is a trick or setting in the configuration to enable the Administration folder in the Job defintion?

Thanks and best regards,
CC
