Cognos Analytics Gateway Coexistence with Cognos 10.1.1 SP5

Has anyone worked out a Apache HTTPD 2.2 configuration that allows Cognos 10.1.1 to co-exist with Cognos 11.0.7? (with only the respective gateways installed on the webserver)?  Cognos Analytics (11.0.7) seems to require a module for IBM SSL that is not required for Cognos 10 (cgi).    Found that the Cognos online documentation explains the need for mod_ibm_ssl only when it comes to the IBM httpd server.  Standard apache works with just mod_ssl.

We only have 1 physical server (one IP), and would like to stay with a single virtual host, with possibly a sub-directory being where the configuration options diverge if at all possible.

I was able to get them to co-exist with different aliases.
