Hi all,

maybe this has been asked before but I could not find it.

Compared to Report Studio, it seems the report property "(un)group repeating cells when exporting to excel" is missing in Cognos Analytics?
Is this correct and is there a reason why it was removed, or can we expect to have it available again in a future version?
Or, if the option is simply hidden somewhere, could anyone pls guide me on how to find it?

Thx.

There is an RFE logged for this functionality. It has a status of "Uncommitted Candidate" which means:

This is the description which I think sounds like what you are asking:

Provide export functionality that maintains HTML Group/UnGroup capabilities to MS.  Today when a Users exports to Excel, the HTML formatting does not pass to the exported file. Targeted for WSA and Report Studio

Yes, it has been asked before...
The interim solution is to press CTRL+ALT+M to display the Report Studio menu.  Then open File | Report properties.

Thank you for your replies. I did not know that it was possible to open up the RS menu in this way, but it seems to do the trick. Thx.
