Conditional formatting in crosstab

Hi All,

I need to highlight the crosstab measure cell (intersection) based on the a calculated column.
It works on my side, but the conditional formatting applies to the whole row instead of the value cell.

I Don't want the formatting on the empty cells. How can i fix this.

Please find the attachment for report layout.

Rule:

if a month difference between start and end date is <=1 month then color black
if a month difference between start and end date is between 2 and 5 month then color blue
if a month difference between start and end date is >5 month then color red
