how to add a object inside the table of contents

Hi ,

    I want to add a block(text item inside that to show the title) inside the table of contents and render it based on the prompt selection.When I do that the block displays only if first option is selected in the table of contents entry.How to render the block if any of the value in the prompt is selected?
