Hello Guru's!)
Have just found the new release of Planning is available. Does anybody know what are the main differencies between 10.2 and 10.1.1 (fix pack 7)? Trying to find something about 10.2 but there aren't any information...

Another question:
Does it possible to use in shared environment the Planning 10.1.1 (fix pack 7) with Cognos BI 10.2.2 (fix pack 6) without migration to 10.2? I'm using it with BI 10.2.1 (fix pack 11), but would like to migrate on the latest one.

Thank you for the reply!

With kindest regard,
Roman

Hi,

It's in the documentation...

http://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSPN2D_10.2.0/com.ibm.swg.ba.cognos.rdm_cpl.10.2.0.doc/c_rdm_cpl_knownissues.html

Cheers!

Dears,

does anyone know when the ditributive of Planning 10.2.0 can be found?
Unfortunatelly, i can't more download from IBM site directly due to decision to stop paying for a technical support as not needed.

As you know 10.2.0 works with Excel 2016 and Analytics 11, so it's really desirable step to upgrade from 10.1.1...

Please help)

Kindest regards,
Roman

Planning 10.2 can be downloaded from the IBM passport advantage website.
If your company decided to stop paying for their yearly maintenance on the planning software, it means they strategically decided to no longer need IBM support on it, nor have the need for future upgrades.
They cannot be split.

You would have to discuss the options with your IBM sales representative, or one of their businespartners if you want to pursue usage of planning 10.2.
