I'm having a problem with an install, and any help would be most appreciated

I should first say that all of this is on RHEL 6.6 which i have very little control over., and I'm using Cognos BI 10.2.2 with FP4 and the web server id IBM HTTP server 8.5.5.8

I've installed the app server and content manager on server A, configured and started it, it using oracle as the content store and Active Directory as the authentication source, anonymous access is currently enabled. On server B I've installed and configured the gateway, and the IBM HTTP server. I can open up the BI server, using either the Cognos module or the cgi gateway, from a browser and do anything as an anonymous user. Now come s the problem.

when I click Log On, I get the log on screen, I enter my user ID and Password, click OK, then I immediately get "The IBM Cognos gateway is unable to connect to the IBM Cognos BI server. The server may be unavailable or the gateway may not be correctly configured." What have I missed?

There is nothing in the logs, Cognos or HTTP Server, and everything in the configurations test OK, excerpt the email server but I haven't set that up yet. I've done the same set up in the lab (suing CentOS 7) and it works OK. I've even gone as far as installing the gateway and webserver on server A with the rest of the Cognos components and it works.

What have I missed on server B?

thanks

I'm still working on this but I think this must be an issue with IBM HTTP Server as if it install Apache it works, any one know the difference between IBM HTTP server and Apache HTTP server?

Just thought I should post this, in case anyone else gets something similar, as I have a solution. Please note its a solution, not necessarily the best solution, just one that worked for me

Uninstall (including deleting the install directories) and reinstall Cognos on both servers.

Don't know what didn't install correctly the first time, but it was something on the install rather than just the configuration, as I'd reset the config on both machines already. I have a suspicion it was on the gateway server though, rather than the application and content manager server, but i reinstalled both just to be sure.
