Alert Notification In a Dashboard Using Workspace Advanced or Report Author

I have a requirement to show notifications or alerts as a part of a Dashboard that is developed using Cognos Workspace or
Report Author.

Is there a way to do it so a notification is shown to the user? :) :)

Notifications can be delivered into a folder in Cognos Connection, and from within Cognos Workspace you can drag that folder into your workspace so that the contents are displayed.

By the way, Report Author is a role - do you mean Report Studio?

Yeah! I meant Report Studio.  :D

So, the Notification would be an email to the person or some other type of message? Where would the notification
come from?
