Printing the Framework Tree (Query Subject, Folders, Namespaces, etc.)

Hello!

I am wondering if anyone has found a way to export all of the Framework fields (Query Subjects, Folders, Namesspaces, etc.) into an Excel or Word document?

We currently have a source that has around 1200 different fields...and I am handtyping them out to put together a Dictionary of Terms for my company. 

I'm thinking there must be an easier way to export these fields into Excel or something. 

I only have access to Query Studio and Report Studio...but I can go to a different department to gain access to Framework Manager if need be. 

Any ideas would be so greatly appreciated!!!!!

Framework Manager can export all fields (query items) and folders into a csv file which can be opened in EXCEL.
Project Menu > Languages > Export Translation File

Wow....thank you so much!  I sent this "How To" information to the person who has access to Framework Manager within my company.  Hopefully they are successful in exporting those items.  Thank you, thank you, thank you!  Happy Friday!

May I ask one more question?

We were able to export...but had to do a separate export for each dimension. 

Do you know if there is a way to get all the columns into one sheet, and have them sorted by query subject?

To give an example of the format we are receiving....the 4 folders we have within one particular dimension are appearing at the very top of the data.  It would be so great if the actual folder appeared to the left or right of the query subject.  But, is that getting too complicated on this type of export?

Unfortunately, that is not possible, at least with this method. Maybe somebody else knows of another way to achieve this and will post here.

That's the only one I have used.

You can run a model report and then save the XML and then open it in Excel. It is pretty ugly and very wide but might give you some other options to consider.
