Hi Gurus,

I am trying to setup Framework Manager on my local machine. I was successfully able to configure for my lower environments. However when I am trying to set it up for my production server, I get an error message that cryptographic information cannot be generated and the details are as below. The reason I am trying to setup multiple instances of FM as we have restricted access of the production server and cannot use the deployment folder to move the FM models.

Any help would be appreciated!!!!!!

You said you are trying to set it up on your local machine AND production server? Which machine is giving you the error? Did you find out whether you should actually set up Framework on your Production server? FM is a development tool and should be only on the development server. There is no need to publish packages on the Production server and that would be a violation of change control process too. The packages published by FM are migrated to the production server post UAT using the deployment method of Cognos (export/import).

Sorry if I wasn't clear. I can't use the export/import wizard as I have no access to move the FM model to the deployment folder on the production server. Hence the multiple installs on my local machine. Was able to configure successfully to development and test environments but get the below error when trying to configure for production.
