Cognos Scheduler

Recently a user made a complaint that schedules which were previously working were no longer working.

After investigating I see the following error code in the job details
CM-REQ-4159 Content Manager returned an error in the response header. The error "cmAuthenticateFailed CM-CAM-4005 Unable to authenticate. Check your security directory server connection and confirm the credentials entered at login." can be found in the response SOAP header. CM-REQ-4342 An error occurred with the client.

They have worked for almost a month straight, but then just started to fail, and I can identify no reason in the database or her access to explain this.

Has anyone seen this scheduling error before?

I don't know if this will solve your issue or not but what I did was renew the schedule credentials when it happened to me. That seemed to fix the problem and we have not had it since.

Did you do this through Cognos Connection on the actual Cognos server?

I did this on the Cognos server.
