Conditional palette PDF rendering

When using an image in a report, both stand-alone and as part of a palette, only the HTML output will render as expected. PDF only shows the stand-alone image.
http url is exactly the same for both the image and the palette entry!
In "conditional palette – advanced"  the palette-entry shows correct too.
