cannot export as csv

been trying to export as csv. but can only save it as xls.
has anybody encountered this issue?

I had to make this change in my Cognos environment just recently.
Read the instructions on the following link to change the format from xls/xlsx to csv when downloading the CSV file.

There are also ways to make it delimited by different characters (tab is the default).

Use the above link to customize how the CSV files get generated and sent to you after exporting.
