CANCELLED Filter on one of two fields but return values from both

sorry for the bad title name.

I have a filter that looks for three values  ('Equipment','CONSUMABLES', 'RC')
Equipment is harware and the other 2 are Supplies

I would like to have a prompt on Equipment to allow the user to select the equipment they want in the report but also show the supplies without going through the prompt.....hope I am getting this across right.  Basically show the Equipemt the user has seleted through the prompt (which can vary) and also show the Supplies data (which is a constant)
