Maximum and minimum values in cognos

Dear all,

I am very new to cognos report developing, I have one requirement that I need to dev report which contains max and min value of particular column, i.e exact two rows which is max and min of column 'value_today'.

can you please suggest me solution,I had seen some solution but am unable to get because am new to cognos.




please give me suggestions, your help is appreciate...

Welcome to the wonderful world of Cognos. Take a moment to check out the Forum Etiquette post since it explains a few things you ought to do in order to get the best information from the very dedicated members here.

In particular, I'd note that you've posted your question in the wrong board and you haven't specified what type of data source you are using. It would help to identify the reporting tool you are using and also if you have a dimensional or relational source.

Apart from that, I'd suggest that training would be a worthwhile investment as would review of the applicable user guides or other books to help give you a better foundation to begin learning.
