TM1 Web Problem on Windows 8 64 Bit

Dear all,

I installed TM1 10.2 on Windows 8 64-bit. In my first installation, I did not realize that IIS 8 was not started (the service was not started). Then, when I tried to access TM1 Web, I failed (404 error message).

Then, I reinstalled the TM1 (and before starting the installation, I run IIS 8 first). But, TM1 Web was still not working. When I opened the IIS Administration page, I saw that TM1 Web site was not there. What should I do?

additional notes,
I am explaining about my failure to access http://localhost/tm1web. I have checked IIS 8 configuration. I cannot find tm1web site.

Suggest you have another read of the documentation. TM1Web in 10.2 no longer uses IIS (good thing in my view). The URL would now be  http://localhost:9510/tm1web .

I have tried to use the URL you mentioned. But, it is still not working. It only displayed something that as if the web server is not starting (not the 404 error).

What should I check?

Like dusherwo says; the tm1web logic is now running in the tomcat logic.

1. Is the TM1 application server service started via your cognos configuration?
2. If so, does the appserver logic work, if you open http://tm1servername:9510/pmpsvc ?

This is how I run the application: by clicking IBM Cognos Express Manager. All the services are running well. But, I cannot access the TM1 Web application. I also can see IBM Cognos TM1 Performance Modeler 10.2.0.0.

What I am trying to say is that I still cannot access TM1 Web using 9510 port. Is there something I miss? Or, how to I check that my tomcat is running or not?

What exact error do you get when you use http://<servername>:9510/tm1web

Also what do you see when you enter http://<servername>:9510/pmpsvc
