Sort order on Chart Categories

Hello. I currently have a chart that uses Years in the categories... for some reason it sortes the dates 2011, 2013, 2012 any reason why this would happen? I have tried to sort from Ascending and Descending order in the query but to no avail. Preferably I want the order to be from oll to new ie 2011-2013

In chart it self you can sort no need to go to Query..


Click on categories data item apply sort Ascending..
