Hi,

I have a pc server with windows 2003, before it installed cognos 8.4, it just intall a cognos 10.2, and migrate data from 8.4 to the new version.

I found that it pop-up a new window to request user&password when i access one olap by type url directly, the url is:

http://10.58.65.38/cognos/cgi-bin/cognos.cgi?b_action=xts.run&m=portal/launch.xts&ui.gateway=%2fcognos%2fcgi-bin%2fcognos.cgi&ui.tool=AnalysisStudio&ui.action=edit&launch.openJSStudioInFrame=true&ui.object=%2fcontent%2fpackage%5b%40name%3d%2711111%27%5d%2fanalysis%5b%40name%3d%27test_11111%27%5d&ui.drillThroughTargetParameterValues=&CAMUsername=admin&CAMPassword=adminpass&CAMNamespace=COGNOS

I can login olap normally in version 8.4, is there anyone faced the same problem? and how to solve it?

Thanks..

Are you using 10.2 or 10.2.1?

If you're on 10.2.1 I'm willing to bet you will find this post useful:
