Weird issue with Prompting/Reprompting a Report

A user contacted me about a quirk she is experiencing when she is running a report.  The report was originally written in Cognos 8 and is now converted to Cognos 10 although the problem was occurring in both environments, and it only seems to be happening to her specifically.

The report has a main prompt page and a prompt section at the top of the report page that is identical to the prompt page.  The prompt section was created for users to change criteria, select different locations (or see all location), etc.  When this user runs the report and selects an individual location in the initial running, then she changes the location to "all", she will continually get a repeat of the individual location report.  It is almost like the report is caching the report and not requerying for the data.  I cannot create the problem on my computer.  I am running Windows 7 with IE 8.  The user is running Windows XP with IE 7.

Anyone encountered this quirk before?  Thanks!

When the user changes the parameter on the report pages, is there a prompt button to send the parameter back to the report? Like a 'Finish' prompt button renamed to something else?

Wow, this is quite a delay since the initial reply to my post.  I had some login issues with my Cognoise account.

In answer to the question, yes, there is a button for the user to click to send the request back to the report.  This problem seems to be intermittent in that it won't happen for a while and then it will.  When it does happen, the user can logout and log back in and they still get the same report output.  Eventually, it's like the session ends behind the scenes and they can do a different request successfully.
